All In represents a long-time dream I've had to help others achieve what they never thought possible. I have crossed the finish lines of races and triathlons of nearly all distances for more than 30 years -- rarely the fastest (except for three races), and always with passion. I've seen firsthand the positive transformative effect that the journey can have on an individual, and it is my honor to help others to experience the same.
I have a depth of experience in both long-distance running (including trail ultrarunning) as well as triathlon. I am an IRONMAN-Certified Coach.
"Immediately I loved his personalized approach. He sat down with me as we outlined goals, talked through injuries or limitations as well as hopes and expectations."

MY COACHING PHILOSOPHY
Maybe you've never toed the line at a race. Maybe you rocked college cross country but now you're over 50. Maybe you're as coordinated as a baby giraffe. There is an athlete lurking in there. and together we will find it.
I believe to my core that we're all capable of great things, but we live with a crippling fear and we get really good at finding excuses to stay put and not pursue big things. You're not too old. You're not too slow. You can be a runner. You can learn to swim.
I've seen greatly unprepared and undertrained athletes accomplish great things. If you bring the commitment, you will succeed.
It might not seem possible (especially if you're still in your twenties), but we're all destined to be food for worms ("Dead Poets Society" reference). Dark? Yeah. But the moment we accept it is the moment we're begin making the most of today and achieve greater things.
So many factors influence your success: preparation, diet, sleep, life stressors, karma, weather, blisters, you name it. But it's not celestial randomness. There is a science to it all and I've spent my adult life learning it. We have access to more data than ever today; we will put it to good use, combine it with deep experience, and help you succeed.
If you're a cat person, I'll still love working with you. But I will try to convert you at some point.
(This may sound like nonsense. Maybe it is. It's also a reminder that we can't take everything too seriously - these events, while difficult, are meant to be fun.)
The FIRST STEP is a phone call. Let's talk and see if this can be a good two-way fit. We will discuss your goals, your background, what I bring to the table and more. Let's get a feel for chemistry, too.
READY TO GO? If it's a good fit, the next step is to get a deeper understanding of your background, lifestyle, training preferences and availability and more.
FROM THERE, we're off and running (literally!). I'll lay out your weekly, monthly and longer-term training plan and we'll get you ready.
THERE'S A LOT MORE TO IT. Read on below.
Because I am "ALL IN" and it's just me, I am able to take only a small number of athletes at a time. I keep it limited so that I can be hand-on and much more accessible. This is why I am only taking a total of FIVE athletes in 2025 - so you can rest assured that you are getting my focused, dedicated attention and care.
Whereas some coaches set up a tiered system, where you get greater, more regular access to them depending on the coaching package, I have opted to keep it simple and have one flat fee. My aim is to be accessible at almost any time, by text, phone or email (within reason, of course), without the hassle of choosing between coaching packages.
While I will be accessible as needed, we will also have regularly scheduled check-ins to discuss topics that are key to our success, including: training progress, nutrition, race plans, life factors, training program adjustments, injuries, workouts, gear and equipment, and more.
My monthly fee is $200, and my strong preference is to begin work at a minimum of 6 to 8 months prior to your target event. However, our chances of success hinge on a number of factors, including your base fitness and the more time that we have.
Email me today to schedule a phone call. Please tell me a little bit about yourself: your goals, why and a little bit about your athletic background.
